Inspiration

What is our inspirations in life? We all go through life experiencing things that push us to follow our dreams. Everywhere I look and hear I have things push me to do better in my daily life. Clothing and music are my biggest inspirations in my life, I love looking at new and old styles and really dwelling on their progression. We all need that thing that draws us to do what we love, and by this happening we could be much happier in our lives. We need to satisfy that side of us that wants to do great things, that side that wants to go somewhere. I love that feeling and I try to keep it reoccurring everyday when I wake up. Your progression is key! I try to find anything that helps me grow in the right direction. If you want progression you got to start with your inspiration, this will give you the ideas and intensity. Lets find inspiration!

Networking

Making new friends and re-connecting with old ones becomes super important to your personal brand. I recently went back to my old High School to see a basketball game with some friends. I saw all my old classmates and talked to some really cool new people. By doing this I was marketing myself as a product, my product was friendship. People will remember you by the things you do, your first impression lasts a lifetime. When creating your personal brand networking is your first step, and the relationships you build will bring you up. You will be introduced to new things and new people and the process will begin to accelerate. I thought about this idea part of the night lying in bed and it excited me. I was hanging out with multiple different guys and girls talking and joking about whatever.  These are the times we are going to remember, networking can begin anywhere but I feel you should start at the earliest point possible. In which beginning your personal brand those friendships and connections will back you up and push you further. Let’s network!

HEARTBREAKER Ft. (John Legend)

This song was produced by MSTRKRFT a Canadian made electronic group. They are popular in the electronic and house community and has worked with famously known Dj AM and Steve Aoki. They are the beats in the background with John Legend as vocals. I really enjoyed watching the video because it displayed innocence and youth. I also found it to be somewhat funny and happy. The video and the song were done very well. One thing I noticed was the clothing and hairstyles and it was just super interesting and crazy. I liked the whole idea and the music just went with everything super dope. Always.

Dennis Busenitz I recently have been watching and reading up on Dennis Busenitz. I believe he deserves to be talked about for who he is. When I watch a video on Mr. Busenitz or see a picture of him pulling off a difficult skateboard trick I think this guy’s got talent. He goes out and just tears it up on his board and is just an all star skater sweating through his shirt. This guy just keeps on going and going pulling off difficult trick after difficult trick. Dennis is truly an all out skater and just goes out and does his thing. He is sponsored by a few companies such as Adidas, Real skateboards, Volcom clothing, Spitfire, and Thunder trucks. He is a native of the San Francisco skate scene in California but in his early life grew up in Germany. There really is no rhyme or reason to Dennis but his style of skate and his all out intensity towards his passion. It just goes to show if you have a passion, and your job is your passion your going to be a very happy and successful person. Great things come out of putting in the time and having the intensity. Its the first week into 2010 and there are many things to be excited about. One of those things is the release of Benny Golds new collection. If you check out his site http://bennygold.com/ Benny gives a sneak peek of his new and upcoming products. He is still crushing it with his new era hats, but is adding something to his collection. His denims, and his collaboration with SAG. Two very exciting additions to his brand. Personally, Benny is a huge inspiration to me. I really enjoy his creative but simple designs. His T-Shirts are awesome, his hats are brilliant, and this guy has much more to bring to all of his fans. Like he has been saying this whole time, “Big things to come” in this new year. He has recently announced his new headquarters which looks to be coming along nicely. I think this is exactly what he needs to expand and develop his brand even more. STEVE AOKI I really like this guys style and I really am hooked on his music, its so amazing. I feel like he is such an extraordinary artist. He actually has some RAD disc jockey skills and he is an all around great DJ. His specialty is electro but he can do pretty much anything. Aoki is such an inspiring artist to me and I hope who ever is reading this blog goes to his youtube or myspace accounts. This guy has talent and at some point I would like to meet him, and discuss the latest and greatest music. He seems to be a down to Earth guy and works hard for his passion. Its New!

Hey there so were just days into 2010 and it gets more and more exciting everyday. I am so hott on the idea that there is going to be a lot of new clothing and kicks coming out. Especially yours truly in the coming weeks! I hope you all feel the same excitement I do when I wake up and push to do something dope in this new year. I feel it is so key when you wake up to have an intensity to accomplish your goals. You can turn a bad situation into something crazy amazing so get out there and crush it. There is no reason why you should still be failing in 2010, its a new year you have the power to change your future in a matter of thought. I have set my goals and I am going after them strong I just hope all of you feel the same and are wanting to change your life for the best in any sense. Lets do something we have a passion for and just make things work.

Style When I look or hear of Robin Thicke I not only think of his talent as a singer/producer, but of his style or swag. I am really fascinated by his style because of its classiness. He presents himself well and his dress really catches a person’s eye. When meeting anyone for the first time, the first thing anybody notice’s is what the person is wearing. I believe this is 100% true no matter what anybody say’s. It is the first thing that comes to a man or woman’s mind. I feel like people have become less fashionable every year and it’s really getting to me. I think when we are around other people we should dress better. Like Robin Thicke for example, just kills it with his style and I wish there were more people out there that had an idea of style like him. I see people all the time wearing probably the same dirty sweats they slept in the previous 7 nights in a row walking around town or whatever. I think they need to keep it at home and when they go outside dress in something fashionable and simple. It does not have to be super formal or anything, I am just saying dress classier for your sake and others. Everybody has their own style and swag and I respect that, but really if there is something that needs to be tossed like those dirty gym shorts you wear every day or those extra tight skinny jeans where you can see a hernia they need to go. Its really just the little things that count on a person, I am really directing this to the guys because I really can’t decide what’s too revealing or not on a woman haha. But anyways I just think we need to step it up and create a style worth talking to if you know what I mean and I think women would really vouch for this also. Your look determines you! People say it’s not about the look well it is and looking a certain way for a job, a girl, or anything is the ending factor. Let’s bring something back and make it look amazing and just kill it!
